Hi everyone,

This is part 2 of my winter boots series, you can read the first one here. I bought these boots last year as I wanted some boots with gold buckles. I can't remember how much they cost exactly, but they were reasonably cheap. They are fluffy on the inside which means they are able to keep my legs really warm which is always a plus. They feel quite sturdy and have lasted a year already, which ,considering they were cheap, is great! I love the taupe colour of them too, especially with the gold. 

I paired them with a white chunky knitted jumper that I got from H&M earlier this year. It's really snuggly and isn't made out of a scratchy material. I also wore some black leggings, as per usual. 

I was having a no fuss, minimal make up day and I kept my hair simple in a simple plat. I also added a bow to jazz it up a bit more.

Hi everyone,

I felt like wearing a dress today but didn't want to get cold since the temperature has dropped massively this week (yay for snow coming soon!). I chose to wear a new jumper dress that I bought from H&M recently. It's not too thick but it's warm enough with a jacket over the top. I'm really into grey clothes at the moment and I like pairing them with beige accessories like my H&M bobble hat and my tan and beige Pimkie boots. I've had these boots for three years now and they are still going strong. 

Instead of plain black tights (which I seem to be lacking at the moment, another Primark trip is definitely due) I picked these grey tights with black polkadots that I found in Hema. I love them! They are probably not thick enough to keep my legs warm if I'm outside all day but they are fine for going shopping. 

I got my jacket quite a few Christmasses ago (2008?) when we first heard about Asos. It's almost perfect because the only thing missing is a hood but apart from that I love it.

I really love TV shows. It's no secret. Who doesn't love TV shows? One of my absolute favourites is Teen Wolf and one of my favourite characters on that show is Lydia Martin. Not only is she a really interesting character but her hair and her outfits always look amazing no matter what the situation is. Which is kind of cool and I'm slightly jealous but oh well. 

I found this jumper in the sale section of H&M a few months ago and I got it for a stupidly low price. I had seen it beforehand and it was one of those situations where you want the clothing item but just never get around to buying it. So needless to say I was really happy to have found it in the sale.

While watching season 4 of Teen Wolf, I saw that Lydia wore the same/a similar jumper in one of the episode, except it was cropped. After having a "omg I have that jumper" squealy moment (and also showing my brother who watches it too but didn't seem to care, funnily enough) I calmed down enough to think of maybe doing an inspired look blogpost, once sweater weather arrived. So here we are! 

I want to point out that the outfit is Lydia Martin inspired, not the hair and makeup, although I do love her looks (future blogpost maybe?). I did put a small side plait in my hair, similar to this one, because she does have a lot of different plaited/braided hair styles, but nothing too special. And I have done a separate blogpost on the makeup look that I did for these photos, so keep an eye out for that.

I paired the jumper with a simple, black skater skirt that I bought from Asos a few years ago and tucked it in to give the cropped look without having to chop up my jumper. Lydia rarely wears flat shoes, but I don't own any boots that have much of a heel hence why I am wearing flats. 

I'm quite proud of how the outfit turned out and it's definitely something I would wear. It's not too dressy and not too casual which is always good.

It's the fourth day of June and all we get is rain! My boyfriend was lucky enough to go away on a short trip to Lisbon and was able to spend some time on a beach, since the weather was so lovely. Jealousy doesn't even begin to describe it! But he did surprise me by coming back bearing gifts and I couldn't wait to try them all on. He got me a lovely set of bracelets, my favourites being the gold spikey one and the grey and gold feather one. He also bought me a gorgeous navy blue, lightweight scarf with white hearts on it. 

My wedges weren't exactly weather appropriate but to be honest I was too lazy to go and change them and I hardly ever wear them. They aren't the most comfortable pair of wedges I own, but I love how they look.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any links for the jumper, coat and wedges because I bought them a few months ago.

It's become a new tradition of mine to have more fail outfit photos than actual decent ones, but I like to include them because sometimes they are just to funny.

I've been ill these last few days and today was the first day I actually felt up to putting on a bit of makeup and making an effort with my outfit. Unfortunately today was the one day where the sun decided to have a break. It was the worst kind of weather, sticky and warm but overcast. My hair especially hates this kind of weather, because it just goes frizzy and horrible so I ended up doing a simple side plait, to keep it out of the way but still look pretty.

I have a slight obsession with v-necks at the moment, v-neck t-shirts, v-neck dresses, v-neck jumpers,... If I see any kind of v-neck, I just have to have it. I actually have this t-shirt twice now. I spotted it in H&M one day and fell in love with it. It's a lovely thin material and is super comfortable. They only had one left and it was a size M. I would usually buy a size L but when I held it up against me I thought it would be fine as it was very loose and oversized. Then just the other day I was in H&M and saw it again. Having completely forgotten how loose the M was I picked up an XL since once again they only had one left. It was only when I got home that I realised it was the same t-shirt, which isn't a problem. When I tried it on, it was obviously very oversized but again I don't actually mind because it's a good t-shirt to wear over leggings as it covers the bum! I'm wearing the XL in these photos.

The leggings I'm wearing a really comfortable but a little bit see through, which is why the t-shirt is a good idea. I would also recommend going a size down because there's a lot of extra material at the top and bottom of them! I actually have to pull them up so that they are almost under my boobs, which is not a good look. 

My brother gave this necklace to me a few years ago for Christmas and I hardly ever wear it because it can get quite tangled but I love the colour for Spring. I obviously couldn't find a link to the exact one but H&M have a similar necklace now.

I'm off to go and blow my nose and have a few hundred Strepsils now!

The sun was out and I decided to wear my new denim shorts. I have a lot of trouble finding denim shorts that are comfortable and look nice on me. I didn't actually expect to like these ones and I had my doubts when I went to try them on. However, they ended up being surprisingly comfortable and I actually liked them! 

The shoes caught my eye immediately and are right up my street. I wore them to take my dog, Molly, for a long walk and they didn't hurt my feet at all, which is a plus. And they're super pretty and summery!
