Christmas Day Dress

Dress - H&M
Coat - H&M
Tights - Primark
Wedges - Primark
Earrings - H&M
Necklace - H&M
Watch - DKNY

Hi everyone,
I spotted this dress on a recent shopping trip to Auchan. I had been looking for a pretty dress that I could wear on Christmas day and I fell in love with this one the minute I saw it. It has long sleeves which is a major plus point because I will be spending Christmas in the french alps and won't want to wear a short sleeved or strapless dress. I love the subtle black pattern against the light pink and the fact that it has pockets. Yay for pockets! I feel it's a really flattering cut too and I can see myself wearing it a lot throughout the year.
I paired it with a fluffy, textured cream coat, also from H&M, that my mum got for me as an early Christmas present. I found it in the sale section and it was 50% off of 99€! I love the material and it's really cosy but still looks quite elegant.
I wanted to keep my accessories rose gold and beige so I paired the dress with rose gold jewellery and my beige/taupe wedge heels that I got from Primark earlier this year. I also chose these because I know that I won't be wearing them for a long time on Christmas day, as we will probably be spending it indoors so they are basically just for the sake of taking photos. If we do go out, I will probably put on some practical snow boots that won't necessarily go with the dress.
Have you got your Christmas outfit all planned out yet?

Inspired Look: Lydia Martin | Teen Wolf

Outtake: looking into an imaginary crystal ball
Jumper - H&M
Skirt - Asos (similar)
Tights - Primark
Boots - Primark
Watch - DKNY

I really love TV shows. It's no secret. Who doesn't love TV shows? One of my absolute favourites is Teen Wolf and one of my favourite characters on that show is Lydia Martin. Not only is she a really interesting character but her hair and her outfits always look amazing no matter what the situation is. Which is kind of cool and I'm slightly jealous but oh well.
I found this jumper in the sale section of H&M a few months ago and I got it for a stupidly low price. I had seen it beforehand and it was one of those situations where you want the clothing item but just never get around to buying it. So needless to say I was really happy to have found it in the sale.
While watching season 4 of Teen Wolf, I saw that Lydia wore the same/a similar jumper in one of the episode, except it was cropped. After having a "omg I have that jumper" squealy moment (and also showing my brother who watches it too but didn't seem to care, funnily enough) I calmed down enough to think of maybe doing an inspired look blogpost, once sweater weather arrived. So here we are!
I want to point out that the outfit is Lydia Martin inspired, not the hair and makeup, although I do love her looks (future blogpost maybe?). I did put a small side plait in my hair, similar to this one, because she does have a lot of different plaited/braided hair styles, but nothing too special. And I have done a separate blogpost on the makeup look that I did for these photos, so keep an eye out for that.
I paired the jumper with a simple, black skater skirt that I bought from Asos a few years ago and tucked it in to give the cropped look without having to chop up my jumper. Lydia rarely wears flat shoes, but I don't own any boots that have much of a heel hence why I am wearing flats.
I'm quite proud of how the outfit turned out and it's definitely something I would wear. It's not too dressy and not too casual which is always good.
Do you watch Teen Wolf? Who are your favourite characters?

The Waterfall Jacket

Jacket - New Look
Jumper - H&M
Leggings - Next
Watch - DKNY
Bracelet - Stradivarius
Bag - C&A
Boots - Siemes Schuhcenter

I was perusing the New Look website one day when I spotted this jacket. I had been looking for a nice waterfall jacket for ages and had a little victory dance when I saw it. It's made out of fake leather and the inside has a suede texture to it. It's quite thin, so it will be good for the cold but sunny autumn days. I absolutely love it and can't wait to put it to good use. It has already started to get colder here in Luxembourg, which makes me extremely happy.
I actually own this jumper three times, in three different colours! It's so comfortable and great to wear with leggings, as it's quite long.
Hope you have all had a great week!

Dip Hem Maxi Dress

Dress - C&A
Necklace - H&M
Earrings - Next
Watch - DKNY
Wedges - Chaussea

This is the outfit I wore for my sister's graduation dinner. It was quite a stuffy, warm day so I wanted something light to wear. My mum actually bought this dress from C&A last year but ended up giving it to me. It's a maxi dress, but has a dip hem, meaning the front is shorter than the back. It came with a necklace included but I didn't really like it so I took it off. Instead I chose to wear my new H&M rose gold chain necklace, which I love. It's a really nice addition to any outfit and ties the outfit together nicely. I also wore my Next earrings that went well with the necklace and my DKNY rose gold watch. I feel like this is such an easy outfit but the accessories really make it look a lot nicer and make it seem like I made more of an effort.

Patterned Trousers

Outtake: caught mid pose
Top - H&M
Trousers - H&M
Earrings - H&M
Bracelets - Stradivarius and random
Watch - DKNY
Wedges - Chaussea
Lipstick - MAC Girl About Town

I went to H&M, what a surprise! But to be fair, it is one of the best shops for affordable yet nice clothes here in Luxembourg. I spotted these trousers and just had to have them. I love loose fabric trousers for those not overly hot summer days and these were perfect. And also they aren't completely black, which is different for once since most of my trousers and leggings tend to be black. I paired them with a hot pink vest top which I found among the sale items, also in H&M. I really like how the pink breaks up the monochrome pattern. I decided to keep all of my jewellery plain gold/rose gold and used MAC's Girl About Town lipstick, as it went nicely with the top. I feel like the wedges make this outfit more night out appropriate and flats would make it a more casual, comfortable day time outfit.
Hope you all had a great weekend!

Cosy Winter Jumper

Jumper: H&M
Tank Top: H&M
Leggings: Next
Hat: New Look
Boots: New Look
 Bag: Next
Watch: DKNY

Hey guys,
You can probably tell by looking out of my window in these photos that it's been snowing here in Luxembourg this week! Which means it's time to wrap up warm and be snuggly every day. H&M have some really nice Winter jumpers in stock so I bought this one on Sunday and I love it. It's my only 'slightly christmassy' jumper I own, which is sad but I can never find any nice ones here. It would probably look really nice with a shirt underneath and only the collar sticking out at the top, but I don't own an shirts that have collars (I really need more clothes! Hah) Hopefully it will keep on snowing and I'll be able to do some snowy OOTD's!
Hope you're all having a great week!
