Tasty Tuesday!

Our lovely Golden Retriever, Molly turned 6 today! To celebrate, Mum and I decided to bake some yummy treats from a book that my sister bought. It's called 'A La Bark Baking' by Kris Owen and every book they sell raises money for homeless dogs. It's got loads of recipes and some actually sound quite nice haha. We decided to make Malarky's Minty Mouthfulls.
Look at my lovely Christmas Trees!

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup (150g) plain flour
1 1/2 cups (200g) wholemeal flour
1/2 cup (40g) grated parmesan
1 tablespoon mint
1 tablespoon parsley
1 egg
3/4 cup (150ml) milk
1/3 cup (70ml) olive oil
And that's all you need!

Preheat the oven to 180°C / gas mark 4
and cover a baking tray with baking paper.
combine your dry ingredients in a large bowl
and whisk the egg, milk and oil together in a separate bowl
next mix both the dry and wet ingredients together and stir together with a great big spoon
knead it into a ball of dough , then put it onto a floured surface
Knead for a few minutes until it becomes easier to work with
roll it out til it's 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick
pick your cookie cutters!
cut with the cookie cutters and place on the tray
Bake for 20 minutes and then turn the 'cookies' over and bake for another 10-15 minutes. They should turn a nice golden colour.
and there's Molly wolfing (hah) down a Christmas Tree
She liked them, which is a good sign because she's quite a fussy dog.
Hope this helps any dog owners! :) How do you treat your pet?
